Lone Mountain Taekwondo

Super Kids Karate, Inc. is a nonprofit organization started by Master Sue Langdon, owner of Lone Mountain Taekwondo in Las Vegas. Master Sue is a 7th Degree Black Belt and 7x national sparring champion with more than 30 years of martial arts experience. She opened Lone Mountain in 1994, and since then has had the honor and privilege of helping thousands of students – including hundreds of beneficiaries who received support from Super Kids – become stronger, healthier, and more confident individuals who have the skills to defend themselves.

Master Sue started her martial arts journey when her children were young and she wanted them to learn self defense skills. She soon discovered that she wanted to help others learn martial arts, too, and today Lone Mountain continues that focus on helping children and families. We offer a full traditional taekwondo program in self defense, tournament competition, and conditioning. Join us and see how martial arts can enhance your life!

What Makes Lone Mountain Taekwondo in Las Vegas Different?

There are many martial arts schools in Las Vegas. Here’s what makes us special.

Female owned and operated. LMTKD is the only martial arts school in the Las Vegas area run that is owned and operated by a 7th-degree female taekwondo master who has won multiple national sparring competitions, has more than 30 years of experience, and is a mom who started martial arts with her kids because she wanted her children to have the skills to defend themselves.

Traditional taekwondo. Lone Mountain teaches traditional taekwondo based on martial arts standards set by the Kukkiwon, the official governing organization for Olympic-style taekwondo. The techniques we teach are time-tested, safe, and effective.

Trauma-informed instructors. LMTKD is the only taekwondo school in Las Vegas that ensures all of our instructors are certified by the Association of Trauma-Informed Martial Art Schools.

Everyone welcome. Lone Mountain Taekwondo embraces diversity and welcome kids with learning or behavioral challenges, individuals with mobility problems, and people of all sizes, ages, and fitness levels.
