Super Kids Karate

Making ends meet on a regular basis is a struggle for too many families in our community.  When parents must support the home paycheck to paycheck, their children get fewer opportunities to participate in afterschool programs or weekend sports.  They miss out on social interactions with friends, being part of a group and personal growth that comes with learning new things and accomplishing goals.  Super Kids Karate is here to offer children and parents in disadvantaged financial situations a chance to learn the martial art of Taekwondo, to be a part of a social family and to find that setting and meeting goals is rewarding, confidence-building and makes us all feel good about ourselves.

Taekwondo (meaning “the way of the hand and foot”) is a self-defense martial art.  We teach our students the self-assurance they need when being bullied or threatened physically and how to protect themselves when running away isn’t an option.  They learn how to defend themselves against predators and call attention to dangerous situations.  We teach respect for instructors and adults and to be leaders in their community through living by example.  The five tenets of Taekwondo that we reiterate daily are courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit.

Super Kids Karate is a charitable, non-profit incorporated in Nevada with a 501(c)(3) tax exempt status with the IRS.
